made another car. The nazi killer – Tatra T87 this time. More complicated model with openable hood, trunk and doors.
Tatra 87 (1936-1950) killed so many Nazi officers during World War II that the German Army eventually forbade its officers from driving the Tatra. I hope you will enjoy it.

third video! This time I’ve made DIY wooden scanner for slides.
I have houndreds photographs as slides at home. They were made with reversal film to make diapositives or diafilm. I hope I’ve got the terminology right 🙂 . Instead of negatives diapositives are in natural color. So there is no need to reverse color. But you need projector to show the pictues and I don’t have any.
So I made this wooden scanner for diapositives slides of dimmensions 50×50 mm to digitalize family photos with my smartphone. All you need is to make a box and put a light source to the bottom (I used LED stripes, but probably any other light source is good, except candle. Unless you want your photos burned…). Just be aware of heat. Between the light source and slides is room for some light difuser. Piece of paper is sufficent, but some semitransparent/white plexiglass would be better. Then insert your slides to slides holder and put your phone on the top of the box. Better camera better photos.
There must be some post editing (crop the image, color correction), but it’s not complicated. I digitalized my whole family photograph collection, then choose the best photos and let a professional photo laboratory to digitalize them in better quality.
I hope it can be useful to you. I guess you can use DSLR instead of smartphone for better results. I also guess it can be used for any slides if you tweak a holder for different dimmensions. Negatives shouldn’t be a problem, but I didn’t try that.

back with my second video. I don’t know if it is too late or too early, but it’s video about wooden Christmas tree ornaments. At the end of January. I recorded it during Christmas holidays, but it took me a while to edit the video, prepare the PDF pattern and so on.
So here it is. There are tree types of ornaments included in PDF files in two sizes. An angel, kind of modern tree and kind of traditional tree and mix of all of them. I personaly used only the mix. I used plywood 4 mm and some scrap plywood 4 mm and 6 mm from previous projects and I glued them together so I could make more decorations at once. A made them for my family members and they loved it. I hope you gonna like it too!

I’ve made my first video. It’s Porsche 911 made out of wood. It was my first wooden model I’ve made completely on my own from scratch. It is a little bit small because I wanted to save material. Other models gonna be slightly larger, because it’s easier to make 🙂
It’s easy to make. No complicated curves, no tiny parts, no need to use other tools than scrall saw and drill.

I know there is not much to see in here right now. But I wanted to test it. I’ve made some models already (now I call them prototypes, because I’m gonna have to make them again for camera), plus I’ve made some other things too and many others ideas are just in my mind or on paper.
I hope I’m gonna be able to put them here sooner or later.
Take this as some kind of teaser. Maybe come here later again and it’s gonna be better and a little bit fuller.
